COLUMBUS, Ohio – Delivering a dominant 2-for-2 performance Friday evening in Columbus, Ohio, surging Aussie Luke Parkinson (Denman, New South Wales, Australia) earned his career first PBR (Professional Bull Riders) win, victorious at the Challenger Series’ Congress PBR.

The Missouri Thunder practice squad rider got off to a quick start, tying for third in Round 1 after he covered Underdog (Generations Pro Rodeo) for 86.5 points.

Parkinson continued his momentum in the championship round, conquering Crazed Addiction (Cornwell Bucking Bulls) for a matching 86.5 points to clinch the victory.

Compliments of the golden finish, Parkinson earned 5 Challenger Series points.

Capping his efforts inside the Ohio Expo Center Coliseum with a monstrous 90-point, countryman and fellow Missouri Thunder rider Callum Miller (Warwick, Queensland, Australia) was second, collecting 8 Challenger points.

Miller first put points on the board in the opening round, going the distance aboard Skid Lid (Mike Miller Bucking Bulls) for 69 points.

The 27-year-old then readied to climb aboard Mr. Excavator (Cornwell Bucking Bulls) in the championship round.

Matching the bull jump-for-jump, Miller reached the requisite 8 as the sold-out crowd erupted in raucous cheer. He was awarded a career-best 90 points, with the score marking Miller’s first 90-point ride across all levels of competition.

Michael Lane (Tazewell, Virginia) was third, taking home 7 Challenger points.

Despite bucking off Classic Man (Cornwell Bucking Bulls) in a hard-fought 6.05 seconds in Round 1, the veteran rider returned determined in the championship round, ready to make the most of his second chance atop Game Day (Generations Pro Rodeo Inc.)

Poised, Lane erupted from the chutes remaining centered en route to an 88.5-point score.

Mason Moody (Letcher, South Dakota) and Dustin Martinez (Canjilon, New Mexico) tied for fourth compliments of their matching 87-point, Round 1-winning scores.

Nashville Stampede rider Moody covered G Money (Mike Miller Bucking Bulls), while newly inked Kansas City Outlaws practice squad member Martinez bested Supernatural (Generations Pro Rodeo Inc.).

Moody and Martinez both left Ohio having netted 3.5 Challenger points.

In the bull pen, Jungle Love (Walden Bucking Bulls/Cornwell) was unrivaled, named the Bull of the Event. The animal athlete was marked 45 points in the championship round courtesy of his 1.13-secnod trip with Alex Jenks (Vale, North Carolina).
